Elena Petron

Raised in Connecticut, Elena earned her B.A. in German Studies and English Literature from Kenyon College in 2022. Before joining CDG, she spent a year in Vienna, Austria as an English Teaching Assistant through Fulbright Austria. Her research interests include realist film and film and media theory; she is currently researching the possibility of understanding film as a medium of "resonance."

Alongside her studies, Elena has worked with both photographers and filmmakers, drawn to the relationship between process and final product in visual media. 

In her free time, she enjoys distance running, yoga, and photography.
