Celia Vander Ploeg Fallon

Celia earned her B.A. in German from Carleton College in 2025. Her senior thesis focused on friendship in the posthuman world of the short story “Ich bin dein Mensch: Ein Liebeslied” by Emma Braslavsky. Celia’s research interests lie in German film and media with a focus on science fiction. 

Outside of her studies, Celia enjoys reading, hiking, and watching reality television.
