Rona Eccard

Rona earned a B.A. in Communication Science from the University of Hohenheim in 2019, emphasizing media psychology, sociology and journalism studies. After working in marketing and as a journalist, she went on to earn her M.A. in General Rhetoric at the University of Tuebingen in 2025, focusing on rhetorical theories and literary studies. Her thesis examines bisexuality in German modernist literature through the lens of rhetoric and literary theory.

Rona’s research interests include Romanticism, the 20th century, feminist and traditional rhetoric, queer studies, popular culture, as well as different kinds of poetry.

Outside of her studies, Rona is interested in Irish language and culture, the arts and anything visually creative. She enjoys reading, dancing, and frequenting museums, concerts or coffee shops
